This specialty combo handle and die set has a .156" thick punch for use on vinyl T-moldings only. The punch quickly cuts out a relief notch from the insert of the T-molding with a 1/4" wide bottom and 45° side angles. After the relief notch is removed using this tool, the T-molding easily forms tight radius bends up to 90°, such as at the outside corners of a table top. The ultra-low profile and narrow handle of this iron make it easier to bring the seam together near the back of the iron. Dual indicator lights show both power-on and heating status. Cord life is improved with the rotating cord assembly with flexible strain relief which extends the cord out of the seam area. The heavy-duty handle and riveted tray are highly durable. The back tip of the base is grooved to comb adhesive to the wall as the iron is angled out. This prevents "dragging-off" of adhesive which can cause failure. The groover's precision guide wheels track in the seam to cut a groove for heat welding. Groove starting at the middle of the seam with the front blade, then up close to the wall with the rear blade. Groove curves and circles using a clip-on foot plate that allows the back end to slide. Blade depth is adjustable. Cuttings flow out under the handle, which pivots open for cleaning. The pressure roller has a groove for guiding and pressuring the welding rod into the cove seam area. This flameless electric heat gun can deliver hot air up to 1000 degrees F for softening, forming, and more easily cutting sheet vinyl, VCT tile, and like materials. The adjustable intake cover controls output temperature between approximately 750 degrees F - 1000 degrees F. The high speed fan puts out 27 cubic feet per minute of hot air.
