This knife is one of the best available for vinyl installation. The angled blade holder puts the blade at an optimal angle for long cuts, and keeps the knuckles off the floor. Crain Knife Handle Custom

This hand saw is used for removing old or damaged grout. The angled steel handle bracket keeps the hand from contacting the floor during the sawing motion. Comes with one carbide blade coated with carbide grit for cutting out grout between tiles, and one steel-toothed blade for heavy cleanout work after using the carbide blade. This utility blade knife has knurling up front as well as finger contours that provide better grip for precise cutting. Pivots open quickly for blade storage by loosening the folding thumb screw. Replacement blades are easily removed from the body with a teeter-totter action generated by internal ridges. Precision blade clamp holds tight and is magnetized for easier blade changes. Crain Extra-Grip Utility Knife

The hook shape keeps the cutting edge off the floor when cutting over concrete. They are also good for following score lines in linoleum and making long rough cuts in sheet vinyl materials. These blades come in a plastic box with a hinged lid that snaps closed for storage. They can be used in most utility knives and any of the following Crain tools: No. 189 Hook Handle Utility Knife, No. 247 Multi-Purpose Wall Trimmer, No. 265 Stand-Up Cutter, No. 727 Delphin Knife, No. 728 Folding Utility Knife, No. 730 Utility Knife, and No. 732 Extra-Grip Utility Knife.
