Crain 363 Door Pin Tool Deluxe

This wedge-shaped tool has a forked-shaped edge on one end with a capture spring that holds the greasy pin on the fork, preventing it from falling on the carpet below. On the other end, the tool has a solid steel pin. If the bottom of the hinge is open, simply insert the pin and tap it upwards to lift the head. If the hinge is not open, insert the fork-shaped edge under the pin and hammer to wedge it up. Once the pin is raised, the fork can be inserted under the head to lift the pin up and out. The capture spring holds it on the fork as it is removed. The nickel-plated steel body withstands hammering. Net weight: 8 oz.
