This inexpensive yet versatile cutter is great for rough cutting of carpet off the roll. It takes slotted razor blades, utility blades, or Crain No. 300Y blades. When used with utility or Crain No. 300Y blades, the blade angle cuts from the carpet's backing to prevent shearing and wadding up of yarns. Steel springs on both sides of the cutter hold the carpet down as it is being cut. Large thumb knob allows simple, fast blade changes.
