Uzin UX500 Microguard

UZIN UX 500 MICROGUARD is a lightweight, high-performance tile underlayment designed for crack isolation, waterproofing, and vapor management in residential, commercial, and industrial installations. Its thin, installer-friendly design rolls out flat with no memory effect and provides a smooth surface that's easy to cut, fit, kneel, and trowel on.

UX 500 MICROGUARD can be installed over concrete, gypsum substrates, and qualifying single-layer plywood or OSB subfloors, eliminating the need for traditional tile backerboard in approved applications. Tile can be installed immediately over the membrane, helping keep projects moving without unnecessary downtime.

  • For topical waterproof integrity, UZIN WP Seam Tape bonded with UZIN CX 15, 20, 30, 33, and 38 or UZIN HS 200 is recommended for seams and perimeter details. It is also compatible with UZIN HS 100 for seams and perimeter details
